FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
My dog isn’t the most trust worthy off leash…will that be a problem?
Believe it or not, very few dogs that I work with are off leash during their session. The safety of your dog is my utmost priority during our session and unless you have complete and total faith that your dog will stay with us, I will encourage my clients to keep a leash on their dog. But thanks to the wonders of editing software, when you decide what products you would like to order, I can remove the leashes.
Can you come to my house for the session?
Yes! The location for your session is completely up to you, however I can help provide suggestions. But if you think you dog or cat would be more comfortable at your home, then I would be happy to come visit you guys!
Do you sell digital images?
Yes, I do sell digital images and will include social media images with all my custom packages. Please see my Pricing page for more information.
What if it rains the day of our session?
With living in NW Oregon, rain is always a factor, even in the summer. If rain is in the forecast, I always check in with my client the morning of their session and we decide together at one point we will make the decision to continue with the shoot or reschedule to another day.
When is the best time or day to schedule a session?
Most of my sessions are scheduled in the evenings (to get that soft evening light, right before the sun sets) and on the weekends.
Do you offer gift certificates?
Yes, I sell lots of gift certificates as people love to give them as much as much as their friends and family love to receive them. Please email me if you would like to purchase a gift certificate for a friend or family member.
I would like to be in some of the pictures with my dog too, is that okay?
Heck yes! The bond and relationships between pets and their people is such a beautiful thing and it is an absolute honor for me to be able to capture those special moments between you and your best friend.
Do you have a studio or a place to take pictures inside?
I do not have a “studio” with lights, backdrops and props, it just isn’t my style. But that being said, if you do want to have some pictures of your pet inside your home, we can definitely do that.
